Service Level
Service Level Agreement
This Service Level Agreement ("SLA") outlines the general service expectations, responsibilities, and limitations applicable to services provided by TaitCloud. TaitCloud delivers cloud, hosting, networking, and platform services on a best-effort basis, unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement. This SLA applies to all users unless a custom enterprise or contractual SLA has been agreed upon separately.
Overview
This SLA sets out how our services are delivered, what you can expect regarding availability and maintenance, and the limitations that apply. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
No Uptime Guarantee
TaitCloud does not provide a guaranteed uptime percentage for any service by default. While we design and operate our infrastructure with reliability and redundancy in mind, no service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free.
Services may experience downtime due to, but not limited to:
- Maintenance activities
- Network issues
- Hardware failures
- Software updates
- External dependencies
- Force majeure events
Maintenance & Updates
TaitCloud may perform planned maintenance, emergency maintenance, network upgrades, and security updates. Such activities may result in temporary service disruption. Whenever reasonably possible, planned maintenance will be communicated in advance through official channels.
Service Availability
TaitCloud services are provided subject to infrastructure capacity, network conditions, regional availability, and third-party dependencies. Availability may vary by region, service type, and deployment configuration.
Service Credits
Unless explicitly stated in a separate agreement:
- No service credits are provided for downtime or service interruptions.
- No compensation is guaranteed for performance degradation.
Custom SLAs with defined service credits may be available for enterprise or contractual customers.
Exclusions
This SLA does not cover issues resulting from:
- Customer misconfiguration
- Software installed or managed by the customer
- Abuse, misuse, or violation of terms
- DDoS attacks beyond protection scope
- Third-party software or services
- Factors outside TaitCloud's reasonable control
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Maintaining backups
- Monitoring their services
- Securing access credentials
- Following best practices for deployment
TaitCloud is not responsible for data loss unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
Term & Termination
This SLA is coterminous with your active hosting subscription. Either party may terminate services per the Terms of Service. Outstanding invoices remain payable; no pro-rated refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations.
Modifications
TaitCloud reserves the right to update or modify this SLA at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on this page. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated SLA.
Acceptance
By creating or continuing to use a TaitCloud service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this SLA in full.
